French award-winning filmmaker/photographer Benjamin Walter grew up in the royal city of Versailles (France), cradle of the "Electro French Touch" (Air, Phoenix, Alex Gopher, Michel Gondry) and as far back as he can remember he always wanted to be a storyteller. In 2011, he graduated from the highly selective school of Journalism of La Sorbonne (Paris), and then directed several documentaries.
After working as a reporter, he moved to L.A. in 2012, at age 24, and got into the Directing Program at UCLA, where he directed a bunch of stylized genre shorts. There, he also began writing his first feature film, Pink Zone. The movie had its World Premiere at the Chinese Theatre and was selected into a dozen film festivals and received several awards.
Spending his time between films, commercials and photoshoots. he has shot for companies like Under Armour and Google.
